Archiving Policy

The Horizon Journal (THJ) ensures long-term digital preservation of all published content through trusted archiving systems.

THJ is integrated with the following global preservation networks:

  • LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe): Supported by Open Journal Systems (OJS), LOCKSS ensures secure and permanent archiving by distributing copies across multiple libraries.

  • CLOCKSS (Controlled LOCKSS): CLOCKSS provides decentralized and tamper-proof preservation, guaranteeing continued access even in the event of publisher or platform failure.

All archived content remains accessible under the journal’s open access license (Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License), ensuring both availability and legal clarity for reuse.
